A family run hotel with...

Liked: The lady who ran the breakfast facility was superb. She was friendly, helpful and the food was excellent.
Disliked: The room was on the top floor which wasn't so good when the lift broke down. The bar could have been a little more cosy the prices should have been displayed . I ordered the same three drinks on three separate evenings and each time the price was different??? However, when I pointed this anomaly out to the barman he couldn't have been more apologetic. The location is perfect for the town, the Hoe and access to local restaurants and entertainment.

It is a pleasant quiet...

Liked: Very good breakfast and good staff.
Disliked: I am on crutches and the room was a long way from the lift and involved going up extra steps, 13 of which were narrow and shallow. Perhaps i should have asked for a room more friendly for disabled people.

Very good

Liked: This hotel room did not seem so nice on paper, but once I got to the hotel, I realized it was bigger and nicer than expected and the property is very well taken care of. While the hotel could use a nice refurbishing, it still very well kept as it is.

Liked: Near to shops
Disliked: Bar not very cosy. Parking now on parkingeye so if you dont register 100 fine. Registration lasts 24 hours then you must re register. Awkward if you park up early leave later and forget.

Very basic but satisfactory

Liked: Clean. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: Asked for heated towel rail to be turned on as bathroom was feeezing. Despite being told this would be done it wasn?t. Also, one whole day we had no internet access in our room. Staff just told us to bring our work downstairs.
