Liked: Comfy bed, immaculate accommodation, tasty breakfast and a lovely host.
Disliked: Bathroom was very clean. It was quite compact with sloping ceilings, due to the age and nature of the cottage, so would prove difficult for talller people.

A lovely overnight stay.
Liked: Beautiful old cottage in a lovely sleepy old town. The owner was attentive and friendly. The bedroom was large and clean.
Disliked: The only downside was the quirky en-suite bathroom, but in saying that the bathrooms have been sympathetically installed in the eves of a cottage built in the 17th century!!.

I will NEVER stay at...
Liked: The room was spotless.
Disliked: I arrived somewhat late due to a delayed flight and also driving in the wrong direction which led me to take the back roads via a bazillion tiny villages with a 30MPH speed limit. I drove by Tudor cottage about 5 times and even asked a local couple walking their dog the location of the B&B, They told me that they never heard of it. It would have been nice if there was a sign other than small letters over the door. When I finally arrived I was berated for arriving late. It was clear that the owner was totally anti-American per her remarks to me. I did not feel welcome and the next morning I got the impression that she could hardly wait for me to leave. I was not able to get the shower to work but decided against asking for help. And the shower head space was cramped for a tall person due to the slanted ceiling. I felt that this B&B was over priced. And the breakfast was nothing to write home about. I'm a Travel Agent and I have been to the U.K many times for business and pleasure and I have never experienced this kind of treatment. If things like late arriving guests send her off the deep end then she should chose another occupation. She could take a lesson from The Belfry B&B in Yarcombe. They were wonderful hosts.

Liked: Very pretty old property, bed was very comfortable
Disliked: The local village church bells rang every hour on the hour throughout the night but that's not the property owners fault!
