Generally the hotel looks a bit tired and standards need sharpening up to justify the cost. There are more modern hotels within the city centre for a similar or lower cost, albeit without the leisure facilities.
Liked: Restaurant staff very good; breakfast selection excellent; location ideal for stadium access and Headlingley; huge car park; Starbucks on site.
Disliked: Rooms a bit tired; pool congested; wi-fi poor signal strength in room; cleanliness average; reception toilet facilities poorly maintained; towels in leisure centre too small.

A very nice experience.
Liked: Breakfast was great, location and staff were excellent. Liked the set up of the bar and the food in the bar was very good.
Disliked: Room was a bit too hot, as were the corridors. Lighting in the room was a bit low. Would recommend a snack vending machine, handy for an evening.

Great hotel and fun evening.
Liked: The rooms were fantastic, really great decor and comfort. Bathroom was nice too. Hotel in general was lovely.
Disliked: The hotel staff put our hen party decorations on a different table so when we bought the bride to be down for dinner and the table decorated as a surprise, it went downhill.

Disliked: Pubic hair on bed, hair extensions on carpet, filthy toilet seat, steam room out of order (which is a main point of going to a spa hotel) tobacco all over chair in room and a view of a roof full of cigarette butts

Room for improvement
Liked: The hotel was pleasantly quiet, not the kind of hotel that's full of hen and stag parties!
Disliked: The room was nice and big but I thought having striped wallpaper and matching carpet wasn't to my taste but that's a personal opinion, my "room with a view" was a view of the car park! Not exactly what I was thinking for £99 for one night, also the bedding was a little stained which I wasn't overly happy with. You have to fiddle with everything in the room to get it to work including lights (several switches dotted about the room!!!) And I only figured out how to open the windows after googling them (safety latches you need to unscrew) I was at the hotel due to working in the area, the majority of plug sockets were being used by the desk light and drinks machine, and no plug socket next to the bed that would fit a standard UK plug!!!
