Very Good - 4.0 out of 5

Emma , Wrexham, visiting Cliffs Pavilion Fri, 12 May 2017

My room was very clean and large. It had lots of mirrors and a desk to sit at - both features were very helpful. It had a large window overlooking the sea which I loved and all the drink making and washing extras that one expects. As a single woman I felt very safe and I will be staying there again in October.

Liked: It was well presented and spacious.
Disliked: The restaurant was quite expensive.

Would have been a great stay but for a disco until the early hours. We were moved to a sea front room which was quiet. Staff did apologise - would use again though.

Liked: Rooms comfy; food excellent.
Disliked: Disco going on until the early hours - very loud.

Brilliant - we had a lovely stay. All the staff were really friendly, very smart and efficient. The food and service in the restaurant and bar was second to none. Our room was fresh and extremely clean. Breakfast was spot on with a good selection to suit most tastes. Value for money was very good. Already recommended it to friends and we are looking for a reason to stay again.

Grand old hotel - nice...

Liked: Friendly staff & received free room upgrade (new room had be refurbished and was far better). Good value hotel if on a budget. Great views and location.
Disliked: Original room was tiny and from the 1970's. Gym was equally small and few of the machines worked. No newspapers - told to try shop down the road. Hotel is a bit dated and those rooms that have been refurbished have not been decorated to the highest quality.

suited our purpose.

Liked: good sized room -comfy
Disliked: bed a little too springy - one person moving disturbs other one rather a lot of fire doors.

Okay for one nights stay.

Liked: The location was nice and close to the seafront and train station. The staff are nice and friendly too.
Disliked: The hotel is very very dated. It felt quite unclean, damp and gloomy. The bed wasn?t comfortable and everything looked like it was falling apart a bit. The hotel has so much potential it just needs completely ripped out and started again.
