Following his success at Bentley’s and Lindsay House, Richard Corrigan now serves up his traditional hearty fare with plenty of Irish charm at Corrigan’s Mayfair. Located on Upper Grosvenor Street, just a short walk from Hyde Park; the restaurant is a relaxed and unpretentious space with comfortable seating and décor inspired by hunting lodges and game. Head Chef Chris McGowan uses top quality British and Irish produce to create seasonal dishes like game broth with livers on toast; grouse pie and ceps; and daube of pork with turnips and apricots. There are vegetarian options too and some exceptional desserts, including a lighter-than-air lime and cheese soufflé. The charming service and excellent wine list complete this first class dining experience.
