FROM THE SOUTH EAST VIA M1
Leave the M1 at exit 25 (A52). Proceed along the A52 to the Pentagon Island roundabout and take the 2nd exit. Keep left and follow the signs for Derwent Street. The road bears right past the Exeter Arms on the Left hand side at a Y junction. 40 yards on there is a T junction. Turn left onto Derwent Street and travel over the bridge to the roundabout. The Assembly Rooms and car park are the 3rd exit off the roundabout.
FROM THE NORTH EAST VIA M1
Leave the M1 at exit 28 (A38). Follow the A38 in to Derby, on the outskirts of Derby, the A38 merges with the A6. At the Palm Court Island roundabout (Palm Court Restaurant opposite),follow the A6 into Derby, passing the Broadway Pub on the right hand side. Continue past Broadway through the Zebra Crossing (approx half a mile on), followed by a Pelican Crossing. Take the 1st left onto the Ring Road. Take the 1st left off the Ring Road, signed Chester Green, keep left, turning 1st left over the bridge (Duke Street). Continue on Duke Street until the T junction with Full Street. Turn left onto Full Street, the Assembly Rooms and car pring are on the right, opposite the Police Station.
FROM THE NORTH WEST VIA STOKE & UTTOXETER
The A50/516 joins the A38 eastbound. Follow the signs for the North, staying on the A38. Ignore the signs for the City Centre until entering the roundabout, taking the 1st exit off the roundabout, with the McDonalds Restaurant on the left hand side. Tak ethe 3rd exit for the A52 to Derby, on the 3rd set of traffic lights turn left on ring road to Pelican Crossing. The Road bears right, passing BBC Radio Derby, take the 1st left off the ring road, signed Chester Green. Keep left,turning 1st left over the bridge (Duke Street). Continue on Duke Street until the T junction with Full Street. Turn left onto Full Street, the Assembly Rooms and car parking are on the right, opposite the Police Station.
FROM MANCHESTER, BUXTON,VIA AASHBOURNE
Follow the A52 to 1st roundabout with McDonalds Restaurant on the right hand side. Take the 2nd exit for A52 to Derby. Turn left at the 3rd set of traffic lights on ring road Pelican Crossing.
