Clean; warm; friendly; quirky; ideally situated near to the venue and the town and not too far to walk to the sea front.

Liked: Near the venue (Bournemouth International Centre)!

This hotel is open to the public and they are able to book for parties etc. On the night I stayed there was an 18th birthday party, a 21st birthday party and a hen night - rather noisy at times!

Liked: As it is under refurbishment the ground floor was looking very nice and clean.
Disliked: Had to run the cold water tap in the sink for a minute as it ran hot to start with, but it actually took 4-5 minutes to run cold. Breakfast was from 8am - 10am, but arrived at breakfast at 8.15am to find the full english was only slightly warm and not hot. Some carpets are rather worn.

Good value 3* accommodation.

Liked: Comfortable bed. Bright white bed linen and good thick towels. Good blinds and curtains. Two high opening windows. A low table and small bedside-table/cupboard,s but no desk sitable for writing. Only one (difficult to reach) power point not occupied by lamps or TV. Bit dark down the wardrobe end of the room. Good plumbing providing hot running water almost instantly. Easy to control over-bath shower with good screen, but pressure might feel a bit low to some. Overall a good functional bathroom [which is exactly what I wanted, but no doubt some would rather pay more to have this year's the colour scheme or a new bath.] Extractor an effective but a bit noisy. I asked for a quiet room and was put on the top (2nd) floor to be away from the function room. There was one evening with a function. Closing the windows cut out all the noise except a slight remnant of the base beat. I was concerned that the floorboards that creeked as I moved around the room might have been disturbing those in the room below. Self Service Breakfast was very efficient - important on the two days I had to be in town by 08:55. Good cooked breakfast (although not top quality sausages). Other items were a bit limited and the same each day. Missing:- fruit other than grapefruit and "goldfish" peaches, yoghurt, marmite and mustard (only gluey brown sauce or ketchup). If I were staying longer I would have commented. Good value for money for my original three-night booking, but the extra night I booked about 3 weeks in advance was a bit expensive.
Disliked: Fine for me alone, but the room would have been a small fo 2.

Pleasant...except for breakfast

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff
Disliked: Breakfast was very dull. Needed some bread other than sliced. Croissants would have been most welcome.

Great value for money

Liked: Great value for money. Breakfast really good.
Disliked: No where to park. If it wasn?t for parking on the road it would be a struggle. Need a vending machine for food and drink.

Convenient and clean but terrible...

Liked: Convenient parking, friendly staff, clean room
Disliked: Breakfast! Poor sausages, unappetising cereals, no muesli, fresh fruit or yogurt. Coffee tasted stewed. Decor is bizarre. Very noisy until late on Saturday.

Clean, comfortable and convenient.

Liked: The website warns that the hotel can be noisy up until the bar closes at 12.30 a.m. But, we found it quiet. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is the full traditional, including fried bread!
Disliked: We only got one door key for the two of us, which was a little inconvenient.
