Liked: It's position with respect to the Town centre
Disliked: Restaraunt a little pricey for the content, and although the rooms were clean both beds were uncomfortable due to the hardness!

Ideal location & friendly staff.

Disliked: Room was very dusty, my wife's eyes were sore & red the next morning due to the dust in the room. I think they need to get a Dyson. The bed mattress's need replacing & the food was a joke.

Disliked: Room in need of refurbishment, facing internal wall so gloomy. Shower needs replacing, floor boards very creaky in corridor outside room.

Good location for sight seeing...

Liked: There were some accessibility issues regarding one of the rooms that we booked, the manager was helpful and re-allocated the room, the second room was not suitable either, so a third room was allocated. The hotel is a very old building so accessibility to some of the rooms is problematic for people with mobility issues, but the staff are helpful.
Disliked: Some of the sofas in the lounge had seen better days.

Nice hotel, depressing room

Liked: Central, comfortable, reasonable price, good breakfast with quick service
Disliked: The room was as dark as if curtains were drawn, at the bottom of a deep narrow lightwell, depressing. TV didn't work and mobile signal so weak I couldn't use my own data to stream. I have stayed here before and would stay again but not this room.

Enjoyed all the wonderful buildings...

Liked: This is a wonderful old building with lovely public rooms. The corridors are fascinating with chairs and china and little cupboards. Good choice at breakfast. Bar menu is good and coffee is excellent.
Disliked: The room was a good size but no view at all. Pity because previously we've had a good view. The shower was a bit dangerous!
